Plumbing permits will be issued to MN licensed plumbing contractors and homeowners completing their own plumbing work only. The applicant must be the completing the work.
Please review the plumbing permit types listed below and select the best fit for your project. For permits requiring plan review, include all required submittals to help avoid delays.
Select this permit type for all replacement or new plumbing equipment or appliances. A permit is not required for replacement of basic fixtures (water closet, lav, sink)
Prior to applying for plumbing permit verify if plumbing permit was already included in the building permit.
Select Minor Alteration/Repair permit type for minor alteration of plumbing systems including basement finishes where rough-in is pre-existing. Detailed scope of work shall be included in ePermit description.

Select this permit type for all Commercial Plumbing Permits. Plan review will begin after permit acceptance. Fees will be due after review approved.
