I understand a confidential background check will be conducted on all applicants. The Sheriff's Office reserves the right to deny participation in the internship program based on findings during the background
check. A criminal record does not necessarily disqualify an applicant. This application must be completed in full to be processed. I understand that if I am accepted as a participant, any false statements, omissions, or other misrepresentations made by me on this application may result in my immediate dismissal.
