The Swiss Family Robinson by Johann Wyss chronicles the adventures of a shipwrecked family that survived over 10 years on a deserted island. First published in 1812, this popular adventure tale has lived on through book sequels, film, television and even a theme park attraction. At The Landing – Minnesota River Heritage Park, we will explore the family’s trials with hands-on activities and discover how they flourished by using the natural resources around them.
