Officers from the Jordan Police Department were the first on-scene and immediately took a 23-year-old Jordan man into custody.  Sheriff’s Office deputies located a 23-year-old victim nearby with life-threatening injuries and immediately began providing medical aid with the assistance of Jordan Fire Department and Allina emergency medical personnel.  The victim was transported by Life Link air ambulance to Hennepin County Medical Center.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of First-Degree Assault and booked into the Scott County Jail.

“Our investigators are working hard to obtain answers regarding the circumstances surrounding this incident,” said Sheriff Luke Hennen.  “I anticipate that people will have questions about this incident and many of these questions will likely addressed in the County Attorney’s charging documents, if and when they are filed.”
