Rod Thompson Convicted of 19 Felonies

Former Shakopee Public Schools superintendent, Rod Thompson, pleaded guilty to five felony counts of Theft by Swindle, thirteen counts of felony Embezzlement of Public Funds, and one count of Felony Receiving Stolen Property. Thompson agreed to serve 24 months in prison, concurrent with the sentence he receives on federal charges. Thompson also agreed to pay $25,674 in restitution. Sentencing is set for May 3, 2019, at 1:00 PM.
