Sheriff’s Office’s 2022 ‘Season’s Greetings’ Card Design Contest Winners Announced

Congratulations to Hank Jensen, a 4th grader at Jordan Elementary School, for his winning design in the Scott County Sheriff's Office 6th annual 'Season's Greetings' Card Contest'!  Hank's artwork will be featured on the front cover of this year's official Scott County Sheriff's Office greeting card, which is mailed to our agency partners, sponsors, and various officials.

This afternoon, Captain Steve Collins personally delivered Hank his prizes, including a gift card to his favorite restaurant and several other Sheriff’s Office goodies.

The runners-up were Tolynn Manning, also a 4th grader at Jordan Elementary, and Phoebe Wagner, a 5th grader at Falcon Ridge Elementary School in New Prague.  Tolynn and Phoebe also received bags of fun prizes.

“Thank you for having this opportunity for kids,” said Hank’s mother, Lesley Jensen.  “This is such a wonderful way to support their creativity and show the important relationship between law enforcement, children, families and the community!”

“It’s heartwarming to see so many positive depictions of law enforcement through the perspective of these children,” said Sheriff Luke Hennen.

A special thanks to the parents, teachers, and caregivers who helped the kids participate, and to all the other children who submitted their amazing designs. Captain Steve Collins and winner Hank Jensen
