[ARCHIVED] Chalk Fest!

PL Chalk Fest 2022

Your favorite professional chalk artists are back for a two-day event (Friday, September 16 and Saturday, September 17) in downtown Prior Lake!  Featuring live music, kids’ activities, food trucks, and a revamped amateur art contest!  In case of inclement weather (and before heading to the event), please call the weather hotline: 952-447-9825.  

Schedule of events:

Friday, Sept. 16, 4 – 9 PM

4 – 8 PM, professional artists at work!

4 – 9 PM, food trucks

4:30 - 7:30 PM, free glitter tattoos -- A Touch of Magic

5 – 8 PM, live music from "Son Called Soul" -- A Tony Molek solo endeavor

*Friday food vendors: The Brick Oven Bus, PLate Food Truck, BD Sammies


Saturday, Sept. 17, 9 AM – 4 PM 

9 – 4 PM, games at sponsor tents 

9 – 1 PM, professional artists at work!

9:30 AM - 12:30 PM, live music -- Thomas Sticha

10 AM – 2 PM, free face painting -- A Touch of Magic

11 AM – 12 PM, amateur art check-in

11 AM – 4 PM, food trucks

12 – 3 PM, amateur art contest

1 – 4 PM, music by Kidsdance

3:30 PM, Announce Contest Winners

3:30 – 4 PM, photo ops with art

*Saturday food vendors: The Brick Oven Bus, KCM Eggrolls, Divine Swine


**Due to Chalk Fest, there will be not be a Farmers Market in Downtown Prior Lake on Saturday, September 17**
