Project Updates

(Updated August 28, 2023)

• August 28, 2023: On August 28-29, seal coating activities will occur on County Highway (CH) 12 between CH 17 and Highway 13, and CH 44 between Highway 13 and CH 27. There will be single lane traffic with flagging operations and pilot cars – please expect some minor delays.
• August 23, 2023: Seal coating activities begin Thursday, August 24th, at 7 AM on County Highway 14 and County Highway 69. There will be single lane traffic with flagging operations and pilot cars – please expect some minor delays. Completed is expected by the end of day on Friday, August 25th.

Project Justification

Seal coating is essential in pavement preservation and extending the life of our asphalt pavement investment. Each year the townships are invited to participate in the seal coat contract. The 2023 participants are Helena, Jackson, Louisville, and Sand Creek townships. Seal coat bids were received and opened on March 21, 2023.
