The COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented challenges for all Minnesota law enforcement agencies. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is doing everything we can to continue to provide as many of the services as we can safely provide, and to make adjustments as necessary to meet your needs when that is not possible.
We recommend frequently checking this page for updates. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

DEPUTY PROCEDURAL CHANGES: Assuring our patrol deputies remain healthy is one of our top priorities. Effective immediately, any call for service that is NOT in-progress or is NON-life threatening will begin with a phone call from a deputy. You may be asked to submit information to them via email, text, or picture message to assist with building a case. 9-1-1 is still online and we will still respond to life or death emergencies immediately. If you need to speak to a deputy, please call 952-445-1411.
9-1-1 DISPATCH CENTER: Our 24/7 non-emergency phone line is 952-445-1411 if you need a question answered. Call 9-1-1 if you have an emergency. You can also call our general number with any non-emergency questions at 952-496-8300.
