2020 Census

We Count Minnesota Census 2020 imageGet Counted with Scott County Library!

Every ten years, the U.S. Census Bureau works to count every person in the United States, including everyone living in Minnesota. The resulting count will guide the distribution of billions of dollars to Minnesota’s communities, determine political representation for the next decade, and provide data that shapes how Minnesota’s policymakers and business leaders decide to invest public and private resources. We’re here to help answer questions about the Census.

For the first time, individuals will be able to complete and submit their census forms online. Respond to the census online beginning March 12, 2020 at https://my2020census.gov.  You will need your 12-digit census ID found in the materials mailed to you by the U.S. Census Bureau.
