Car Seat Checks
Four out of five car seats are installed wrong! Minnesota law requires all children who are 7 and under ride in a federally approved car seat or booster seat, unless they are 4 foot 9 inches or taller.
The Scott County Sheriff's office offers free car seat checks for parents and caretakers. Deputy Amy Lueck is a Certified Car Seat Technician for all of Scott County. She will inspect the car seat and evaluate how it is installed in the vehicle.
