Training at Scott County

Scott County Child Care Licensing is pleased to announce the following three trainings for Family Child Care Providers. The first two trainings listed are approved trainings per new legislative changes.

SUID / AHT training - (2 hour class)

  
•March 20, 2017
•April 29, 2017 (from 1:00pm - 3:00 pm)
   

Child Growth and Development and Behavior Guidance - (4 hour class in two sessions)


This training is pre-service requirement for new applicants. This class can be taken for ongoing training for current providers, but attendance at both the sessions is required to receive a training certificate.

•April 29, 2017 (from 8:00am - 12:00pm)

 
What to Expect, When You're not Expecting: A Guide to Complaints

- (2 hour class)


Scott County providers asked for a training on complaints, so Scott County Licensing developed one! If you have ever wondered why people complain, what happens during a complaint and what you can do to minimize complaints this is the training for you. Please note, this training can court toward annual training hours but does not meet any pre-service or on-going training requirements.

*Registrations will be accepted by mail, as there is a fee for the trainings. Check or money order should be payable to Scott County Treasurer, and sent in with your registration form.
